Human connection can occur in many forms. While it’s perhaps more typical to find friends with whom we’re quite similar, sometimes opposites do attract. So it is for the title characters of The Full House and the Empty House, a quirky meditation on mutually fulfilling relationships by @lkjamz. Two sentient houses spend their days together, basking in each other’s company; one contains a multitude of objects, while the other has practically nothing at all inside. Though this stark dichotomy suggests the potential for bad feeling, each of these beings sees the best in the other—the empty house rejoices in the rattling noise the full house makes when it dances, and the full house exults in the great soaring heights the empty house achieves when thrown into the air.
