The book of the day is Ingri and Edgar Parin d’Aulaire’s The Two Cars, the gentle tale of a pair of sentient cars, one old and one new, who go for a drive to see which is the best car on the road. After several encounters with humans, animals, and other vehicles, they return to their garage with a deeper understanding of what makes a car truly great. Having collaborated on both the cheerful text and the charming prints created on lithographic stone, the d’Aulaires offer a lightly humorous look into the hearts and minds of the cars that populate our world. #car #cars #drive #driving #book #books #childrensbooks #beautifulbook #beautifulbooks #beautifulbookcover #beautifulbookcovers #picturebook #picturebooks #picturebookillustration #picturebookillustrations #picturebookart #childrensbookillustration #childrensliterature #illustration #kidlit #kidsbooks #bookworm #booklover #booklovers #bibliophile #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #bookstagrammers #instabook #instabooks
