Crack open a book brimming with high silliness: Dr. Seuss’s Scrambled Eggs Super. Peter T. Hooper wishes to impress upon his younger sister just how skilled he is at the culinary arts. He therefore begins to recount his adventure making a dish he calls “Scrambled Eggs Super-dee-Dooper-dee-Booper Special de luxe à la Peter T. Hooper. With his signature rhyming couplets in anapestic tetrameter, paired with his characteristically zany line art (here colored in bright reds, cool blues, and warm yellows), Seuss imaginatively and hilariously explores the many birds whose nests Peter ransacks for his delectable dish. #scrambledeggs #super #egg #eggs #bird #birds #nest #book #books #childrensbooks #beautifulbook #beautifulbooks #picturebook #picturebooks #picturebookillustration #picturebookart #childrensbookillustration #childrensliterature #illustration #kidlit #kidsbooks #bookworm #booklover #booklovers #bibliophile #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #bookstagrammers #instabook #instabooks
