Here is a book to bring on sweet and nourishing sleep: @jeremy.chatelain and @nikkimcclure’s May the Stars Drip Down. The text, taken from the lyrics of a lullaby by Chatelain’s band Cub Country, forms a soothing prayer for a sleeping child to be embraced and protected by the physical elements of nature. Mcclure’s enthralling illustrations, cut and torn from black paper and then printed in shades of cool blue and warm yellow, explore the enchanting dichotomy of night and day. #stars #drip #down #star #night #day #book #books #childrensbooks #beautifulbook #beautifulbooks #beautifulbookcovers #picturebook #picturebooks #picturebookillustration #picturebookart #childrensbookillustration #childrensliterature #illustration #kidlit #kidsbooks #bookworm #booklover #booklovers #bibliophile #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #bookstagrammers #instabook #instabooks
