@audreywoodauthor and Don Wood present Moonflute, a mysterious, dreamy nighttime journey. A young girl named Firen, unable to sleep, receives a marvelous gift. After she tiptoes outside to confront the moon and ask it to return her missing sleep, the moon sends down a magical flute. Playing this moonflute causes Firen to float up into the air and fly far across the world, over towns and fields, oceans and jungles. By the time the girl returns home, the magic artifact has gone, and she resolves to search for it again the following night. Audrey Wood’s soothing text and Don Wood’s ethereal oil paintings come together in perfect harmony. #moon #flute #sleep #night #sky #music #fly #flying #flight #world #journey #adventure #magic #book #books #childrensbooks #picturebook #childrensbookillustration #illustration #kidlit #kidsbooks #bookworm #booklover #booklovers #bibliophile #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #bookstagrammers #instabook #instabooks
