Halfway through my second Beauty and the Beast Week, I am walking the halls of mystery and magic. This adaptation by Jan Brett harks back to the golden age of fairy tale illustration—her wild boar beast nods to the art of Walter Crane, while the tableaux of the two silhouetted lovers recalls the technique of Arthur Rackham. #beauty #beast #palace #rose #mirror #book #books #childrensbooks #beautifulbook #beautifulbooks #beautifulbookcover #beautifulbookcovers #picturebook #picturebooks #picturebookillustration #picturebookart #childrensbookillustration #childrensliterature #illustration #kidlit #kidsbooks #bookworm #booklover #booklovers #bibliophile #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #bookstagrammers #instabook #instabooks
