Here is Earth Mother, an original tale written in lyrical prose by Ellen Jackson and illustrated with the gorgeous art of husband-and-wife team Leo and Diane Dillon. Earth Mother is depicted as the prime mover of creation, traveling at an unhurried pace throughout the land and administering to the material elements of life. She listens without judgment to the beings under her care, offering nourishment and renewal. The Dillons’ work visually complements the gently philosophical nature of the story, their characteristic smooth textures and bold outlines celebrating the eternal beauty of the natural world. #leoanddianedillon #leodillon #dianedillon #ellenjackson #earthmother #book #books #childrensbooks #beautifulbook #beautifulbooks #beautifulbookcovers #picturebook #picturebooks #picturebookillustration #picturebookart #classicchildrensbooks #childrensbookillustration #childrensliterature #illustration #kidlit #kidsbooks #bookworm #booklover #booklovers #bibliophile #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #bookstagrammers #instabook #instabooks
