It’s always fun to leaf through Ratsmagic, written by Christopher Logue and illustrated by Wayne Anderson. The story is strange, and the art is strange, but their combination makes perfect sense. Logue crafts a deliciously nonsensical environment: miraculous bluebird eggs, forests filled with riddling beasts, a witch’s lair in a dragon’s belly. The more outlandish the character, the more playfully exaggerated Anderson’s depiction. #rat #magic #witch #egg #dragon #book #books #childrensbooks #beautifulbook #beautifulbooks #beautifulbookcovers #picturebook #picturebooks #picturebookillustration #picturebookart #classicchildrensbooks #childrensbookillustration #childrensliterature #illustration #kidlit #kidsbooks #bookworm #booklover #booklovers #bibliophile #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #bookstagrammers #instabook #instabooks
