Let’s take a trip back into the days of old through the high grandeur of John Howe’s The Knight with the Lion. This adaptation of an Arthurian legend from the writings of medieval French author Chrétien de Troyes follows the intrepid knight Yvain on a quest of swordplay, dragons, magic rings, broken oaths, and lost love. Howe’s illustrations complement his elegant retelling with striking composition, dramatic perspective, gripping action, and faithfully rendered period detail. #johnhowe #kingarthur #arthurian #arthurianlegend #camelot #book #books #childrensbooks #beautifulbook #beautifulbooks #beautifulbookcover #beautifulbookcovers #picturebook #picturebooks #picturebookillustration #picturebookart #childrensbookillustration #childrensliterature #illustration #kidlit #kidsbooks #bookworm #booklover #booklovers #bibliophile #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #bookstagrammers #instabook #instabooks
