Check out Kay Chorao’s Cathedral Mouse, a sweet tale that recognizes the importance of care and belonging. After escaping from a pet store, a little mouse scurries across the street and into a cathedral. There he must navigate unfamiliar terrain, keeping himself alive and fed until he finds what he has been looking for all along: a home. Chorao’s language is warm and enchanting, while her illustrations evince painstaking research into the deep complexity and soaring beauty of Gothic architecture. #kaychorao #cathedral #mouse #book #books #childrensbooks #beautifulbook #beautifulbooks #beautifulbookcover #beautifulbookcovers #picturebook #picturebooks #picturebookillustration #picturebookillustrations #picturebookart #classicchildrensbooks #childrensbookillustration #childrensliterature #illustration #kidlit #kidsbooks #bookworm #booklover #booklovers #bibliophile #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #bookstagrammers #instabook #instabooks
