For a lovely and engrossing adventure, I highly recommend The Seven Ravens by Laura Geringer and Edward S. Gazsi. A young girl, having learned that her brothers were cursed to take the form of ravens, sets out to rescue them. She encounters avatars of the sun, the moon, and the stars before she arrives at the Glass Mountain to free her brothers from the terrible spell. Geringer’s text establishes a spellbinding world of dangerous magic, while the color and glow of Gazsi’s illustrations highlight the wonder and enchantment of the girl’s journey. #seven #ravens #raven #brothersgrimm #thebrothersgrimm #book #books #childrensbooks #beautifulbook #beautifulbooks #beautifulbookcover #beautifulbookcovers #picturebook #picturebooks #picturebookillustration #picturebookart #childrensbookillustration #childrensliterature #illustration #kidlit #kidsbooks #bookworm #booklover #booklovers #bibliophile #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #bookstagrammers #instabook #instabooks
