How do we see our surroundings? Do we become so inured to our environment that we stop noticing what makes it special? This phenomenon of perception fuels the quirky Never Satisfied by Fulvio Testa. Two children stroll through their neighborhood, bemoaning the utter lack of excitement. Each complaint is belied by one of the many bizarre sights they pass, from furniture raining out a window to a woman tightrope-walking on a clothesline to a hail of arrows flying at a bullseye target. Testa employs short, straightforward sentences with no narration at all, mining the disconnect between the text and the cartoon-style illustrations for irony and gentle humor. #neversatisfied #never #satisfied #panther #panthers #book #books #childrensbooks #beautifulbook #beautifulbooks #beautifulbookcover #beautifulbookcovers #picturebook #picturebooks #picturebookillustration #picturebookart #childrensbookillustration #childrensliterature #illustration #kidlit #kidsbooks #bookworm #booklover #booklovers #bibliophile #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #bookstagrammers #instabook #instabooks
