I’m deeply moved by the lyrical and spiritual meditation on natural science present in The Stuff of Stars by @mariondanebauer and @ekuaholmes. With repetition, alliteration, and stirring simile, Bauer creates a poetic narrative of the origin of the universe, the formation of the earth, and the evolution of complex life forms. Holmes provides digitally assembled collages of hand-marbled paper, depicting forms and events in vibrant, swirling silhouette. #stuff #star #dust #universe #earth #life #science #book #books #childrensbooks #beautifulbook #beautifulbooks #picturebook #picturebooks #picturebookillustration #picturebookart #childrensbookillustration #childrensliterature #illustration #kidlit #kidsbooks #bookworm #booklover #booklovers #bibliophile #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #bookstagrammers #instabook #instabooks
