Here is Inga Moore’s irresistible Six-Dinner Sid, whose enterprising feline protagonist uses his wits to maintain a luxurious lifestyle. He receives warmth, care, and—most importantly—six dinners per day by posing as six different cats for six different owners, all living on the same block. After a brief illness and six trips to the veterinarian, Sid’s ruse is exposed and the six neighbors put him on a strict diet. Undaunted, he flees and relocates to a new street where six different owners who all know him as the same cat are happy to share him and—most importantly—give him six dinners every day. The gently amusing tone of Moore’s story pairs wonderfully with the soft, cool colors of her art. #six #dinner #cat #book #books #childrensbooks #beautifulbook #beautifulbooks #beautifulbookcover #beautifulbookcovers #picturebook #picturebooks #picturebookillustration #picturebookillustrations #picturebookart #classicchildrensbooks #childrensbookillustration #childrensliterature #illustration #kidlit #kidsbooks #bookworm #booklover #booklovers #bibliophile #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #bookstagrammers #instabook #instabooks
