Here’s a peek at The Storybook Prince, a light fantasy by Doug Keith. A young prince whiles away the hours reading to a group of fairy tale creatures, each of whom enjoys listening to fairy tales. The dragon likes stories about witches, the witch likes stories about trolls, the troll likes stories about fairies, the fairies like stories about giants, the giant likes stories about dwarves, the dwarves like stories about princesses, and the princess likes stories about princes. At the end of each day, the fantasy collective gathers at the prince’s bedside and reads to him as he falls asleep. Keith’s endearing illustrations, employing a wide swath of popular fairy tale imagery, bring a sweetness to the sequential narrative. #prince #dragon #witch #troll #fairy #giant #dwarf #princess #story #stories #book #books #childrensbooks #beautifulbooks #picturebook #picturebooks #childrensbookillustration #childrensliterature #illustration #kidlit #kidsbooks #bookworm #booklover #booklovers #bibliophile #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #bookstagrammers #instabook #instabooks
