New Year’s Day—a time of joy, rejuvenation, vitality. On this day, we may wish to contemplate our surroundings, holding gratitude for the bounty of life, family, and community even as we plan for a bright future. While counting my blessings, I am savoring the wonderful sweetness of All the World by @lizgardensalad and @marlafrazee. In gently lyrical tetrametric couplets, Scanlon unfolds a stunning paean to the universality of tenderness and connection. The swirling lines of Frazee’s captivating art evoke the path of the wind, the breadth of the sky, the curvature of the earth, and the links between loved ones near and far. Together, author and artist create a timeless visual hymn to nature and humanity. On this first day of the new year, I wish you happiness, health, and the delight of new beginnings. #world #earth #nature #family #love #book #books #childrensbooks #beautifulbook #beautifulbooks #picturebook #picturebooks #picturebookillustration #picturebookillustrations #picturebookart #classicchildrensbooks #childrensbookillustration #childrensliterature #illustration #kidlit #kidsbooks #bookworm #booklover #booklovers #bibliophile #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #bookstagrammers #instabook #instabooks
