The snow has been falling outside my window in great flurries, blanketing the world in thick, silent drifts of white. As adults, we may focus on the difficulties of weather like this. @carinbergerdesign, however, takes us back to the period of childhood when a blizzard spells hours of fun in A Perfect Day. The children in a small town experience the joys of play outdoors in the snow, with activities including making footprints, skiing, throwing snowballs, building a snowman, making a snow fort, sledding, ice skating, and making snow angels. At the end of the day, lamps flicker on to let everyone know it is time to go home. Berger’s short, expressive phrases and whimsical collage illustrations conjure a delicate atmosphere frosted with irresistible appeal. #perfectday #perfect #day #snow #play #book #books #childrensbooks #beautifulbook #beautifulbooks #beautifulbookcover #beautifulbookcovers #picturebook #picturebooks #picturebookillustration #picturebookart #childrensbookillustration #childrensliterature #illustration #kidlit #kidsbooks #bookworm #booklover #booklovers #bibliophile #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #bookstagrammers #instabook #instabooks
