Here in the center of Brothers Turned to Birds Week comes another iteration of The Six Swans, this one written by Christine San José and illustrated by Jes Cole. San José retells the tale in the first person, investigating the inner thoughts and emotions of the young heroine. Cole provides lush illustrations with a mystical color palette of rich purple, blue, and cyan. #brother #brothers #sister #bird #birds #swan #swans #magic #book #books #childrensbooks #beautifulbooks #picturebook #picturebooks #picturebookillustration #picturebookart #childrensbookillustration #childrensliterature #illustration #kidlit #kidsbooks #bookworm #booklover #booklovers #bibliophile #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #bookstagrammers #instabook #instabooks
