The book of the day is Tikkatoo’s Journey by Amanda Loverseed. When an ice spirit enters his grandfather’s heart, a young boy must leave his village to go on a dangerous quest. He encounters a sentient iceberg, Sedna the Sea Goddess, the Moon, and finally the Sun, who gives him a golden box containing the warmth needed to restore his grandfather to health. Loverseed’s engaging text and bright illustrations combine for a merry, energetic whole. #journey #ice #iceberg #sea #sky #moon #sun #magic #book #books #childrensbooks #beautifulbooks #picturebook #picturebooks #picturebookillustration #picturebookart #childrensbookillustration #childrensliterature #illustration #kidlit #kidsbooks #bookworm #booklover #booklovers #bibliophile #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #bookstagrammers #instabook #instabooks
