Out of Sight! Out of Mind! by Claude LaPointe gives readers a wry look at the perils of closing oneself off to nature and the outside world. In this mostly wordless book, a group of children remains indoors to play video games and misses an exciting sequence of events right beneath their own window involving a molehill, a hunter, and a cat and dog engaging in fearsome combat. LaPointe’s dramatic art underscores the gentle but thought-provoking irony of the children’s obliviousness. #out #sight #mind #inside #indoor #indoors #outside #outdoor #outdoors #children #nature #book #books #childrensbooks #beautifulbooks #picturebook #picturebooks #childrensbookillustration #illustration #kidlit #kidsbooks #bookworm #booklover #booklovers #bibliophile #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #bookstagrammers #instabook #instabooks
