Here is Imagine a Day, a delightful combination of the writing of Sarah L. Thomson and the art of Rob Gonsalves. This collection of words and pictures outlines an incredible day where miracles come to life. Leaves drift through the air, pathways stretch and twist in odd directions, and people work together to achieve the impossible. Thomson’s soothing phrases (“your wishes float/on a puff of air/to summon back the blue”, “roots drink up rivers”, “a book swings open/on silent hinges”) evoke stunning and unforgettable fantasy images. In his captivating acrylic paintings, Gonsalves depicts marvels of changing scale snd perspective. #imagine #day #imagination #book #books #childrensbooks #beautifulbook #beautifulbooks #beautifulbookcover #beautifulbookcovers #picturebook #picturebooks #picturebookillustration #picturebookillustrations #picturebookart #classicchildrensbooks #childrensbookillustration #childrensliterature #illustration #kidlit #kidsbooks #bookworm #booklover #booklovers #bibliophile #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #bookstagrammers #instabook #instabooks
