The Night Eater by @anajuan_art will fill you with enchantment and delight. The title character is a rotund pink creature whose job it is to devour the darkness, making way for the day following behind. When the moon drops a disparaging comment on his weight, he stops eating altogether, causing perpetual gloom to fall over the earth. However, he soon succumbs to temptation and begins munching on the night once more, righting the balance of nature. Juan’s cheerful text and bright, playful illustrations bring this enjoyable metaphysical tale to life. #night #eater #eat #eating #day #dark #light #sun #moon #earth #book #books #childrensbooks #beautifulbooks #picturebook #picturebooks #childrensbookillustration #childrensliterature #illustration #kidlit #kidsbooks #bookworm #booklover #booklovers #bibliophile #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #bookstagrammers #instabook #instabooks
