@oliverjeffers explores the evolution of an unlikely friendship in his delightful Up and Down. A boy and his penguin friend enjoy spending their time together. However, one day the penguin begins to wonder whether he can fly. Without quite realizing what he is doing, he runs away and joins a circus act in which he will be fired out of a cannon. Will the boy rescue him in time? With gentle text and winning illustrations, Jeffers explores the reality of natural limitations and the wisdom of truly knowing oneself. #up #down #boy #penguin #fly #flying #circus #friend #friends #friendship #book #books #childrensbooks #beautifulbooks #picturebook #picturebooks #childrensbookillustration #childrensliterature #illustration #kidlit #kidsbooks #bookworm #booklover #booklovers #bibliophile #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #bookstagrammers #instabook #instabooks
