Amanda Loverseed presents an energetic narrative of adventure and magic in The Thunder King, an adaptation of a Peruvian folktale. Twin brothers Tantay and Illanti care deeply for each other and hate to be separated. One day, their mother assigns them different chores, which requires them to separate. Then, disaster strikes—Thunder, the King of the Skies, whisks Tantay into the sky and whirls him away. Illanti must journey to Thunder’s palace and rescue his beloved brother. With the help of the strong and kindly Condor, the twins escape the clutches of the wicked sky god and return safely home. With entertaining text and dynamic illustrations, Loverseed crafts a story of danger and excitement. #thunder #king #sky #skies #bird #brother #brothers #book #books #childrensbooks #beautifulbooks #picturebook #picturebooks #picturebookillustration #picturebookillustrations #picturebookart #childrensbookillustration #childrensliterature #illustration #kidlit #kidsbooks #bookworm #booklover #booklovers #bibliophile #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #bookstagrammers #instabook #instabooks
