Beware of untrustworthy strangers you meet along the road as we continue to explore Little Red Riding Hood Sequel Week. Have a look at this thoroughly modern interpretation of the tale by @danielegneus. The text, drawn wholesale from the Brothers Grimm tale, unfolds little by little, with only a few sentences on each page, creating the impression of a long story or novella. Egnéus provides engrossing mixed-media art, with stark silhouettes, expressive contour drawings, and dreamy watercolors creating an eclectic and mysterious mise-en-scène. #little #red #grandmother #wolf #book #books #childrensbooks #beautifulbook #beautifulbooks #beautifulbookcover #beautifulbookcovers #picturebook #picturebooks #picturebookillustration #picturebookillustrations #picturebookart #childrensbookillustration #childrensliterature #illustration #kidlit #kidsbooks #bookworm #booklover #booklovers #bibliophile #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #bookstagrammers #instabook #instabooks
