Onward through this new week of Little Red Riding Hood books! We may be swallowed up by the darkness, but in the belly of the beast we will not lose hope. Come and look through this thrilling wordless version of the story—@adolfoserra’s Caperucita Roja. Black and white with a few key flashes of color, the illustrations depict a haunting, stylized vision of the tale. Here, every step of the young girl’s journey is transmogrified into a piece of the wolf’s body: a plume of chimney smoke is his tail, the forest his hairy back, a staircase a row of jagged teeth. Even Little Red Riding Hood’s hair displays a treacherous instability, twisting into lupine form to snap at a passing butterfly. #little #red #grandmother #wolf #book #books #childrensbooks #beautifulbook #beautifulbooks #beautifulbookcover #beautifulbookcovers #picturebook #picturebooks #picturebookillustration #picturebookillustrations #picturebookart #childrensbookillustration #childrensliterature #illustration #kidlit #kidsbooks #bookworm #booklover #booklovers #bibliophile #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #bookstagrammers #instabook #instabooks
