Fairy Tale Theme Weeks are simply a delight for me, and with that I’m delving into a second collection of Beauty and the Beast books! To begin, here is an adaptation by Carol Heyer. The bright colored-pencil illustrations shine with attractive details—dripping candle wax, blood-red rubies, a rose with petals of deep cyan. The beast himself closely resembles a tiger in his ears, his claws, and the upper half of his face, though his mouth and eyes remain quite human. #beauty #beast #palace #rose #mirror #book #books #childrensbooks #beautifulbook #beautifulbooks #beautifulbookcover #beautifulbookcovers #picturebook #picturebooks #picturebookillustration #picturebookart #childrensbookillustration #childrensliterature #illustration #kidlit #kidsbooks #bookworm #booklover #booklovers #bibliophile #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #bookstagrammers #instabook #instabooks
