Next up in my Beauty and the Beast Sequel Week is this lovely version by Warwick Hutton. The moody washes of watercolor set the scene with a dramatic sense of scale and a compelling contrast between dark and light. Hutton’s Beast is a large cat with a lion’s tale, garbed in somber gray. #beauty #beast #palace #rose #mirror #book #books #childrensbooks #beautifulbook #beautifulbooks #beautifulbookcover #beautifulbookcovers #picturebook #picturebooks #picturebookillustration #picturebookart #childrensbookillustration #childrensliterature #illustration #kidlit #kidsbooks #bookworm #booklover #booklovers #bibliophile #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #bookstagrammers #instabook #instabooks
