Sybille Schenker brings us a visually distinctive version of The Frog Prince. A young princess is playing with her golden ball in the forest near her father’s castle. After she drops the ball into a well, a frog retrieves it in exchange for her promise that she will let him dine with her and sleep in her bed. So disgusted is she by having to keep her promise that she throws the frog against the wall, ending the curse on him and returning him to human form. Schenker’s trademark graphic illustrations are enhanced with transparent pages and shiny gold and silver foil stamping. #frog #prince #princess #well #king #castle #book #books #childrensbooks #beautifulbook #beautifulbooks #beautifulbookcovers #picturebook #picturebooks #picturebookillustration #picturebookart #childrensbookillustration #childrensliterature #illustration #kidlit #kidsbooks #bookworm #booklover #booklovers #bibliophile #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #bookstagrammers #instabook #instabooks
