Take a peek at this picture book version of Aladdin, with text adapted from Violet Hunt’s version in Andrew Lang’s classic The Blue Fairy Book and illustrations by the remarkable Errol Le Cain. The flat, graphic style, the luminous colors, the intentional use of frames and borders, and the hypnotic repeating visual elements lend the tale a striking, otherworldly atmosphere. #errollecain #andrewlang #aladdin #book #books #childrensbooks #beautifulbook #beautifulbooks #beautifulbookcover #beautifulbookcovers #picturebook #picturebooks #picturebookillustration #picturebookillustrations #picturebookart #classicchildrensbooks #childrensbookillustration #childrensliterature #illustration #kidlit #kidsbooks #bookworm #booklover #booklovers #bibliophile #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #bookstagrammers #instabook #instabooks
