It’s known and loved the world over—and rightly so: The Three Robbers by @tomiungerer. The eponymous brigands inhabit a stark and caliginous landscape, prowling around under a pale yellow moon and dusky blue skies, disappearing into silhouettes of inky black. Despite its shadowy trappings, the tale affirms a warm and universal humanity as the outlaws shift from figures of menace to a tenderly constructed family. #tomiungerer #robber #robbers #book #books #childrensbooks #beautifulbook #beautifulbooks #beautifulbookcover #beautifulbookcovers #picturebook #picturebooks #picturebookillustration #picturebookillustrations #picturebookart #classicchildrensbooks #childrensbookillustration #childrensliterature #illustration #kidlit #kidsbooks #bookworm #booklover #booklovers #bibliophile #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #bookstagrammers #instabook #instabooks
