The book of the day is Eric Rohmann’s The Cinder-Eyed Cats, a captivating excursion into a universe of moonlit marvels. A young boy travels by hovering sailboat to a distant island, where after sunset a pack of mystical felines joins him to watch the aerial exhibition of a fleet of flying fish. The expressive rhythm and vibrant rhyme of Rohmann’s verse is perfectly complemented by the jeweled hues and shimmering textures of his art. #ericrohmann #cats #island #magic #book #books #childrensbooks #beautifulbook #beautifulbooks #beautifulbookcover #beautifulbookcovers #picturebook #picturebooks #picturebookillustration #picturebookillustrations #picturebookart #childrensbookillustration #childrensliterature #illustration #kidlit #kidsbooks #bookworm #booklover #booklovers #bibliophile #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #bookstagrammers #instabook #instabooks
