How enigmatic, how thrillingly hallucinatory is The Story of Bip, a magic-realism-tinged biographical work written and illustrated by world-renowned mime Marcel Marceau. In a first person narrative, the author inhabits his real-life stage persona Bip as he is whisked away on an odyssey of self-discovery through outer space, to the moon, and back to Earth to share his discovery and experiences through performance in front of a vast, adoring crowd. Marceau’s lyrical text and expressive art convey a rhapsodic love of nature and a joyous celebration of the inherent wonder of life. #marcelmarceau #mime #outerspace #book #books #childrensbooks #beautifulbook #beautifulbooks #beautifulbookcover #beautifulbookcovers #picturebook #picturebooks #picturebookillustration #picturebookillustrations #picturebookart #classicchildrensbooks #childrensbookillustration #childrensliterature #illustration #kidlit #kidsbooks #bookworm #booklover #booklovers #bibliophile #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #bookstagrammers #instabook #instabooks
