Have a nibble of high nonsense with this version of Lewis Carroll’s inscrutably odd poem The Hunting of the Snark: An Agony in Eight Fits, illustrated by Oleg Lipchenko. An intrepid Bellman and his plucky crew of alliterative adventurers—a Boots, a Barrister, a Broker, a Billiard-marker, a Banker, a Beaver, a Baker, and a Butcher—set sail in search of the mythical Snark. Just what is a Snark? Nobody knows, perhaps not even Carroll himself. Though the quarry remains elusive, the quest endlessly entertains. Lipchenko has executed an engrossing collection of soft-textured drawings, brimming with surreal details and exaggerated, curvilinear perspective. #hunting #adventure #book #books #childrensbooks #beautifulbook #beautifulbooks #beautifulbookcover #beautifulbookcovers #picturebook #picturebooks #picturebookillustration #picturebookillustrations #picturebookcover #picturebookart #classicchildrensbooks #childrensbookillustration #childrensliterature #illustration #kidlit #kidsbooks #bookworm #booklover #booklovers #bibliophile #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #bookstagrammers #instabook #instabooks
