Come take my hand and we’ll sweep through this delicate and distinctive Twelve Dancing Princesses retelling by Mary Hoffmann and Miss Clara. Hoffmann applies an air of refinement to her adaptation of the story, with all twelve princesses named after flowers: Violette, Delphine, Iris, Jessamine, Lilou, Véronique, Verveine, Eglantine, Amarante, Marguerite, Rose, and Amandine. Miss Clara’s mixed-media illustrations, created through digitally enhanced photographs of paper models, unveil an antique atmosphere refracted through a modern lens. #dancing #princesses #mystery #magic #book #books #childrensbooks #beautifulbook #beautifulbooks #beautifulbookcover #beautifulbookcovers #picturebook #picturebooks #picturebookillustration #picturebookillustrations #picturebookart #childrensbookillustration #childrensliterature #illustration #kidlit #kidsbooks #bookworm #booklover #booklovers #bibliophile #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #bookstagrammers #instabook #instabooks
