Let’s explore a fanciful story of friendship in Lost and Found by @oliverjeffers. A boy discovers a penguin at his front door and resolves to help it find its way home. A good deal of investigation and research reveals that penguins are native to the South Pole, and so the two row there by boat. But when it is time to part ways, neither can quite bring themselves to say goodbye. With gentle, whimsical text and cool-toned illustrations, Jeffers weaves subtle strands of emotion into a delicately poignant whole. #lost #found #boy #penguin #south #pole #friend #friends #friendship #book #books #childrensbooks #picturebook #picturebooks #picturebookillustration #picturebookart #childrensbookillustration #childrensliterature #illustration #kidlit #kidsbooks #bookworm #booklover #booklovers #bibliophile #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #bookstagrammers #instabook #instabooks
