Follow the trail of breadcrumbs through this second Hansel and Gretel Week with me, and have a look at this winning adaptation by Adrienne Adams. The bright colors and flat shapes lend a warm energy to the compositions, which view the children from a remote perspective until they are reunited with their father at the very end. The witch here is an unexpectedly sprightly old hag, cheerful and impish in aspect. #forest #woods #house #witch #book #books #childrensbooks #beautifulbook #beautifulbooks #beautifulbookcover #beautifulbookcovers #picturebook #picturebooks #picturebookillustration #picturebookillustrations #picturebookart #childrensbookillustration #childrensliterature #illustration #kidlit #kidsbooks #bookworm #booklover #booklovers #bibliophile #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #bookstagrammers #instabook #instabooks
