Onward, onward, through the gilded halls of Aladdin Theme Week, to Aladdin and the Magic Lamp, an adaptation written by James Howard Kunstler and illustrated by Greg Couch. This version, set in the Persian city of Isfahan, employs the visual iconography of the Middle East in its textured drawings. Here Aladdin disposes of the evil magician by wishing to become a snake and, in an episode equal parts comical and grisly, biting him on the buttocks. #aladdin #magician #cave #ring #lamp #princess #magic #book #books #childrensbooks #beautifulbooks #picturebook #picturebooks #picturebookillustration #picturebookillustrations #picturebookart #childrensbookillustration #childrensliterature #illustration #kidlit #kidsbooks #bookworm #booklover #booklovers #bibliophile #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #bookstagrammers #instabook #instabooks
