Tucked away in a little cottage in the forest, seven place settings at the table, seven beds all in a row, we may find respite from our troubles. And it is here in the center of Snow White Week that we come to Josephine Poole and Angela Barrett’s version. The narrative crackles with energy, and the colors and textures of the illustrations create a bold, cool-toned world. Poole alters the evil queen’s fate by having her prick her finger with a poisonous rose she intended for Snow White. #snow #white #snowwhite #queen #mirror #poison #apple #book #books #childrensbooks #beautifulbooks #picturebook #picturebooks #picturebookillustration #picturebookillustrations #picturebookart #childrensbookillustration #childrensliterature #illustration #kidlit #kidsbooks #bookworm #booklover #booklovers #bibliophile #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #bookstagrammers #instabook #instabooks
