Let the spell be broken, let our bodies be transfigured and our souls redeemed. To conclude Beauty and the Beast Week Two, here is a stunning adaptation by Mahlon F. and Kinuko Y. Craft. As noted in the front matter, in a fascinating reversal of the typical picture book procedure, Kinuko Craft executed the illustrations (with a unique hyena-like beast) and Mahlon Craft then wove a story around them. The grand text and glorious oil paintings form a rich, resplendent union. #beauty #beast #palace #rose #mirror #book #books #childrensbooks #beautifulbook #beautifulbooks #beautifulbookcover #beautifulbookcovers #picturebook #picturebooks #picturebookillustration #picturebookart #childrensbookillustration #childrensliterature #illustration #kidlit #kidsbooks #bookworm #booklover #booklovers #bibliophile #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #bookstagrammers #instabook #instabooks
